Miss(ed) Manners

It’s amazing how busy you can think you are when you completely eliminate hum drum from your life. When you get handed this new carte blanche lifestyle where every day is started on your terms and not with the blaring of an alarm poking you in the ear you can get a little overwhelmed by just how excited you are to get going.

Then you realize that two months have passed and you’ve been busy living life and being just who you want to be and you’ve completely shirked a few of the very key aspects of your former 9 to 5 life. In my case, this blog. I’m terribly sorry. I’ve been logging some serious hours behind the keyboard and none of them have been going here.

I’ve had a bunch of people asking about the candy sculpture: It’s getting done this weekend. Excited!

Also, the winter party, culled together a few pics:

Hopefully that gallery function… functions.

Remember all that hooplah about people complaining and threatening to call the cops? Well apparently nothing came of it at all. No calls, no bother to my landlord or super. Just a bunch of passive aggressive bitches whining for nothing. No one complained, no one ever told us who was angry. A ridiculous chapter.

In personal updates, I’m still bartending, all week, every week at my favorite bar in New York. I’m even developing greasy long bartender hair. So that’s working out well.

For the rest of the week I’ll be devoting the blog to a few VERY late “Ask Dave” letters. My replies will most likely be completely irrelevant and untimely, but that’s nothing new, right?

I’ve now scheduled a good half hour every day for this here webby blog type thing, so stay tuned. 🙂

Miss(ed) you guys.

  1. DAMMIT!

How many times am I going to have to try and kill you before you stay dead? This ‘mostly dead’ bullshit just isn’t working!

Maybe next time? I heard their were zombies in Collinsville, Illinois. That sounds promising.
